Romans 12:2 'Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing, and perfect will.'
The idea of Gods will has been on my mind a lot. I am a recent graduate, and stuck without a career. I easily get depressed and confused on what and where I am supposed to be in life. This morning I was reminded of this verse and of the importance of our transformation and walk with God. I love how all of my problems drift away when I am able to focus on God and recognize his power and sovereignty.
All of my minuscule problems don't seem so daunting when I get clear glimpses of the character of God.
Luckily,
we have a God who asks us to cast our worries and anxieties on him who only asks that we walk humbly with him, do what is right, and love mercy.
This morning I am resting in my dependence on him.
